About Dotto Botto

Dotto Botto is a classic platformer with a simple errand: help Dotto find his way home. The ten levels are packed rather than long, filled with moving platforms, obstacles, power-ups, spikes and enemies, and there are four different enemy types to learn rather than one repeated threat. A monstrous final boss waits at the end. The detail worth knowing in advance is that there are two endings, not one, which turns a short game into something worth playing more than once to see what changes. The colourful pixelated graphics and the game's own cheerfully self-aware tone about its scale make it a pleasant, unpretentious run.

How to Play

On a desktop keyboard, use WASD and the spacebar to move and jump. With a gamepad, use the D-pad or left stick to move and A or B to jump. On mobile, touch the buttons to move left and right and to jump. Work through the ten levels to get Dotto home, and face the final boss at the end.

Tips & Tricks

Learn each of the four enemy types on the level that introduces it, while the surrounding layout is still simple. Use power-ups on the sections that have already beaten you rather than saving them. Since there are two endings, note where the game seems to offer a choice.
