Dystopia RPG

Dystopia RPG has one of the strangest premises here and commits to it properly. You lost a duel to a government's shaman and ended up trapped and sealed inside a mobile phone application, which is where the entire 8-bit fantasy RPG takes place. From inside it you explore dungeons, fight monsters and collect and trade items in the usual way — but the escape route is not a door. It is glitching the game itself to break free, which makes the software you are trapped in something to be exploited rather than merely survived. That framing gives an otherwise familiar RPG structure a genuinely different goal to work toward.
