About Giant Killer

Giant Killer reduces combat to three verbs and makes all three matter. Dodging, defending and attacking are the tools you have, and mastering the balance between them is what the game asks of you rather than mastering a long list of abilities. Because it is turn-based, each choice is deliberate: there is no reacting quickly, only reading the situation and picking correctly. Between fights you upgrade your heroes, which is where the longer arc lives, and the game describes itself as endlessly replayable — the fights are built to be returned to with a stronger party rather than cleared once. It is a compact strategic fantasy adventure with a clear and honest skill ceiling.

Tips & Tricks

Read what the enemy is about to do before choosing — a defended turn against an attack you could have dodged is a wasted one. Upgrade heroes you actually field rather than spreading resources across the roster. Retreat to easier levels to build up rather than repeatedly failing a hard one.
