Guns vs Magic gives its fight a personal edge. You play Silvius, a courageous student of magic, and the enemy is Lucius — once a wise and benevolent wizard, and formerly your own mentor, until a cursed crystal turned him into an evil sorcerer set on dominating the world. Confronting him means going through the army of enchanted creatures he has raised, and the game frames the conflict as a battle of wits and power rather than raw force. That framing gives the encounters more weight than a generic monster-clearing exercise, because everything you are fighting through belongs to someone who taught you. A fantasy premise with an actual relationship at the centre of it.
