Sint Nicolaas

Sint Nicolaas is a puzzle-platform game built on the Dutch Sinterklaas tradition, and it opens with a robbery. Thieves have taken Sint's big sack of presents and gingerbread cookies, but they were careless getting away and the contents have been dropping out of it ever since. That leaves you a trail to follow: collect all the lost presents and cookies scattered through each level, then deliver them to the right chimneys before dawn. The deadline gives the collecting a shape, and the requirement that each item reach the correct chimney rather than any chimney is what makes it a puzzle rather than a scavenger hunt. A warm seasonal premise with real structure underneath it.
