Deep Worm 2 - Dune Attack

Deep Worm 2 puts you underneath a desert and gives you an army to repel. The premise is a straight inversion of the usual arrangement: you are the thing that lives here, and the soldiers arriving to occupy your territory are the intruders. What comes at you escalates properly — helicopters, grenade launchers, parachutists, aeroplanes and a full armed force, each arriving in numbers that make standing still impossible. Eating soldiers is how you recover life, so aggression and survival are the same action rather than a trade-off, and letting troops establish themselves is how a run unravels. It is loud, fast arcade action with a clear objective: keep the desert, and do not let more of them in.
