Detonate zombie

Detonate Zombie opens with an accident. A scientist carrying a sample through the subway trips and drops it, infecting everyone in the station and turning them into zombies. Your job as the hero is containment: destroy all the entrances to the subway stations so the infection cannot reach the surface. That objective gives a top-down shooter an actual structure — you are working toward specific points on a map rather than surviving indefinitely, and the fiction explains why retreating upward is not an option. The game describes itself as a mix of skill, speed, adventure and action, and the subway setting keeps encounters tight and enclosed throughout.
