About Off the Hook: Ring Puzzle

Off the Hook is a logic puzzle about untangling. Rings sit interlocked on a hook and your job is to spin and drop all of them, which requires rotating them with both precision and timing so each comes free rather than catching on the next. It leans on spatial awareness more than on arithmetic — you are picturing how a shape will move before you commit to moving it. Hundreds of levels give it a smooth difficulty progression rather than a sudden wall, and there are no time limits anywhere, which is deliberate: the game is pitched as stress-free brain training, and the calm sounds and clean visuals follow through on that.

How to Play

Use a left mouse click or the arrow keys to spin the hook. Rotate the interlocked rings so that each one can drop free, working out the order and the timing that lets them all come off. There is no time limit on any level, so you can take as long as you need.

Tips & Tricks

Look at which ring is on top of the stack rather than which looks easiest to move, because order is the whole puzzle. Rotate slowly and stop to reassess rather than spinning continuously. Since nothing is timed, plan a full sequence before making the first move instead of improvising.
