About Rock Slide

Rock Slide is a puzzle about pushing things into the right places without stranding yourself. Each level has switches that open the exit door and rocks that need to sit on them, and the whole game is working out how to get the second onto the first. What gives it teeth is the possibility of getting stuck: a rock pushed into a corner or against a wall may have nowhere left to go, and a level can become unwinnable without ending. So careful observation of the terrain and strategic planning of your movements matter far more than execution does. Simple to understand, increasingly addictive, and genuinely satisfying when the right sequence appears.

How to Play

Use the mouse to play. Move around each level and push the rocks onto the switches to open the exit door. Study the terrain before you start, plan your route, and avoid pushing a rock somewhere it can no longer be moved from.

Tips & Tricks

Never push a rock toward a wall unless that wall holds the switch, since a rock against a wall loses a direction of travel permanently. Work out which side of a rock you need to stand on before you approach it. If a level feels impossible, you probably stranded something several moves ago — restart rather than persist.
